Strategic Visioning and Masterplanning: Mission, vision and collecting scope, converted into the functional brief and space schedule your architect works from: area allocation across galleries, storage, conservation, back of house, learning and commercial space, adjacency and circulation, visitor flow, environmental and security zoning, and collection growth projected over 25 years.
Collection Policy and Strategy: What the museum collects and why; we build international relevance to your collection with an ongoing acquisition strategy. We write a collection policy and enhance the core asset of the art museum, its collection.
Capital Case and Operating Model: Capital and operating cost modelling, revenue, staffing and governance structure, succession, phasing of works, and the strategic business case that carries the project to approval.
Curatorial and Exhibition Program: The opening exhibition, the permanent gallery concept and interpretive strategy, the program for the first 5 years, international loans and touring, and the writing that carries it.
Permanent Gallery Renewal: For existing museums, a review of gallery performance against storytelling, access, inclusion, infrastructure and visitor return, and a staged plan to rebuild them.
